WE STILL CLIMB TREES BEFORE WE CAN MAKE CALLS-NEW EDUBIASE MP, OTHERS CRY OUT.

The Member of Parliament (MP) for New Edubiase constituency in the Adansi south of the Ashanti region,hon.Ernest Kofi Yakah has lamented that a number of communities in his area are suffering from poor network system to make or receive calls.
He said he was aware that, Wuruyie Community among others were not having proper telecommunication signals to communicate and urged the various mobile phone communications in the country to fast track move in improving the network problem, in their area.
Hon.Kofi Yakah who is also the 2016 National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary candidate for New Edubiase was commenting on the complaints of the Wuruyie community which was presented before them by Hon.Andrews Amesawu,Wuruyie east electoral area Assembly member on behalf of the Chiefs, elders and the people of the area to the District Chief Executive (DCE) of Adansi North,Hon.Benjamin Anwhere, Member of Parliament (MP) and heads of Department before a sod cutting for the rehabilitation of  Wuruyie Primary school.
The MP admitted that, the mobile network situation was very bad but gave assurance that,he was seriously in talk with the various telecommunication companies to get them address the challenges.
Hon.Kofi Yakah and the District Chief Executive (DCE),Hon.Benjamin Anwhere both thanked the Chiefs, elders and the people of the Wuruyie community among others for acknowledging the good work of the Government especially the tarring of their road network among other interventions.
They therefore called on the people of the area to continue to support the NDC Government led by President Mahama and vote for him for the second term.
In respond to the exorbitant lorry fares charge by the Taxi drivers of the area, the DCE expressed concern that, most of the drivers were Wuruyie citizens and wonder why they should be doing that, against their own people. However, he gave assurance that a meeting shall be organized to meet the Transport unions and Drivers to help address the problems to avoid any future tension.

The DCE also used the occasion to appeal to Nananom who are custodians of the lands to always conserve land for infrastructural development. According to him, most at times they find it difficult to access land for certain developmental projects which are beneficial to all .
