The over two thousand five
(2,500) delegates of the United Front Party (UFP) have officially acclaimed
their sole Presidential candidate,Nana(Dr) Agyenim Boateng aka Gyataba as the
party’s 2016 flag bearer.
The colorful endorsement which
took place at Center for National Culture and supervised by the Electoral
Commission(EC) now pave way for the UFP to face other political parties like
NPP,NDC,CPP etc in this year’s general elections slated for 7th
December, 2016..
The 42 year old Business man who
doubles as the founder and National Chairman until his endorsement promised to
embarked on an issues based campaign with priority areas being agricultural,
job creation and human empowerment as part of strategies to battle unemployment
and poverty in the country
Gyataba as he is affectionately
known in the political landscape asked Ghanaians to reject both the ruling
National Democratic Congress (NDC) led by President Mahama and Nana Akufo Addo
come December polls. Since According to
him, both parties NDC and NPP have had
opportunity to serve this country and have not done enough to address the
chances confronting the country.
“UFP holds the keys to unlock the
real economic transformation so we are urging Ghanaians to give me and UFP the
mandate to form the next government”, he urged.
