MCE STOPS MP'S PROJECT IN UPPER DENKYIRA EAST !

The decision by the Member of Parliament for Upper Denkyira East Constituency (Dunkwa-Offin) in the Central Region, Hon. Nana Amoakoh to renovate the Maternity Ward of Kyekyeware Health centre in the constituency has been stopped by the MCE for the area, Hon. Emelia Ankoma who is also 2016 NDC parliamentary candidate for the area.

The Assembly member for Kyekyeware electoral area, hon.Jacob Aboagye confirmed to the Trust Newspaper that, it was the Kyekyeware community who appealed to the MP as well as others to help in renovation of the Ward because it is in bad state.

He lamented that, the health centre leaks whenever it rains but the authorities who are well aware failed to act but as soon as the MP began the renovation process, the MCE stopped the work because she claim is part of her developmental plans and she would soon renovate it.

Attempt to get the MP as well as the MCE for their explanation have proven futile at the time of filling this report. Stay tuned!
