TENSION IN ASHANTI NDC OVER” MONKEY DE WORK, BABOON DE CHOP”.

The Trust newspaper has gathered the ruling National Democratic Party (NDC) in the Ashanti region particularly is currently sitting on a time bomb as anger has filled the Party's communications outfit as well as the foot soldiers of the party whiles the leaders especially in the region are accused of living in their comfort with just three months to the general elections slated for 7th December, 2016.
It would be recalled that, about two weeks ago this paper published the regional women’s organizer of the Party, Hajia Saddick accusing the regional chairman, Mr.Yoa Obimpeh, Regional Secretary, Raymond Tandoh and the Regional Organizer, Alhaji Dannie Jnr especially for sabotaging her and President Mahama bid for a second term.
As if that was not enough, a member of the Regional Communications team who is also a member of Community Committee member,Bobobee fired another salvo our accusing the leadership of the party in the region for busily chasing women and involved in alcoholism.
This paper gathered that, when the top hierarchy of the party started planning to meet to suspend Mr.Bobobee the regional Communications officer himself
Samed Akalilu jumped to the defence of his communicator and went up to blame the regional Secretary of the Party,Raymond Tandoh and others for  rendering the communications outfit ineffective.
As the communication team to continue to battle the regional executives sabotaging their activities, the concerned supporters of Bosomtwe constituency have locked up the party’s constituency office over the failure to reinstate the suspended constituency chairman who was suspended about a year.
Meanwhile, the regional secretary of the Party, Mr.Raymond Tandoh has called for calm by the rank and file of the party.

Ashanti Regional Communications Director for the ruling National Democratic Congress has described the party’s Ashanti Regional Secretary as “skillfully impotent”.According to Samed Akalilu, the Regional Secretary, Raymond Tandoh has rendered the communications outfit of the party virtually ineffective due to lack of resources.Akalilu laments, “a brand new pick-up truck has been given to the party for official work and the regional secretary has hijacked the vehicle and parked it at home even though he doesn’t use it.”Samed Akalilu was responding to assertions that communications team members of the NDC have been complaining of joblessness and neglect by the party hierarchy. For instance, a leading member of the communications team on August 29, 2016 accused the party’s leadership of only interested in chasing girls and drinking alcoholic beverage  instead of concentrating on the job for which they were elected.Godwin Boboobe further revealed that 90% of the party’s communicators are jobless while leadership of the party are busy chasing wealth. But Samed Akalilu says though Godwin has apologized for the unfortunate remarks, he spoke out of frustrations.Samed Akalilu in an interview with host ofAbusua Nkomo, Kwame Adinkrah on Abusua 96.5 said the problems should be blamed on the party’s regional secretary.“Kwame, we are suffering as a communications team because we have a skillfully impotent regional secretary,” he said.“The regional secretary has hijacked a brand new party pick-up, he doesn’t use it because he feels too big to drive a pick-up as compared to the pool of luxurious vehicles he drives,” Akalilu added.“I don’t understand why the regional secretary is not using the pick-up truck neither will he release it to the communications team.”“I am not saying he should give the car to me for my personal use, but at least the vehicle will facilitate transportation of our communicators to radio stations in service of the party”, he added.Samed Akalilu insists, “Raymond Tandoh should come and tell us what he is keeping the pick-up truck for. Because he is not using it as I said earlier. As secretary, he is the Chief Executive Officer of the party and it is his responsibility to ensure all organs of the party are functioning well.”
