The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Alex Nuamah Enterprise, dealers of imported quality paints at Domeabra near Anwomaso within the Kumasi Metropolis, has debunked the claim that his imported paints are causing health effects on people.
He explained that, he imports paints that are not hazardous to the health of Ghanaians to be precise his catchment areas.
The CEO who was speaking in an exclusive interview with the Trust Newspaper said hazardous paints cannot be imported straight way to Ghana without going through vigorous procedures.”The procedures you pass through before you get the authority to import hazardous paints would even frustrate you, why should I go through such frustration?

According to him, though, his paints are non-hazardous; he tries as much as possible to provide protective items to every worker during working hours. Mr.Nuamah said in order to serve clients better he has decided to relocate to Essianimpong near Ejisu for good and better services. On his company social responsibility to the catchment area, the CEO said forty (40) youth in the area have been employed to help reduce the unemployment ratio. He said a toilet facility has been built for Anwomaso his former location. That the nearby communities also assisted him on his weekly (Fridays) clean-up exercise with some tokens.
