I believe that
God will hear our prayers of a peaceful general elections and much depend on
how Ghanaians in general especially the actors will conduct themselves. The
senior Apostle and the fifth Leader of the True Faith Church-Ghana which has
almost spread across the world urged the Electoral Commission (EC) especially
the Chairperson.
Mrs. Charlotte
Osei to conduct herself in a manner that would not create any wrong perception
that she is in favour of Party A or B.”I am humbly appealing to the EC boss not
to allow herself to be influenced with money by any political party but be bold
and be a neutral referee so that even the losers and their supporters in the

Ashanti Regional Minister who doubles as the 2016 Nhyiaeso National Democratic
Congress (NDC) Parliaments candidate said the purpose for the gala, forms part
of his efforts of promoting peace and unity among the people of the constituency
especially with few weeks to the general elections.
SEPE-TIMPON GETS 6-UNIT CLASS ROOM BLOCK -ASOKORE-MAMPONG MCE.
The Asokore
Mampong Municipal Assembly has commissioned a six unit classroom block for Sepe
Timpon cluster of schools.
Speaking at the
ceremony, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Hon. Nurudeen Hamidan, said
since education is the key to success, the Assembly together with the Member of
Parliament (MP) is determined to improve the education of their constituents
and that led to the construction of the block.
He added that
since education is their priority, a Community Day Senior High School project
is underway at Paakoso, adding that another classroom block will soon be
commission at Booban.
Hon. Hamidan announced
that the Netherlands Government is constructing a classroom block for the
people of Paakoso to boost access to education.
He stated that a
sick bay has been provided for Kumasi Academy SHS whiles an Assembly Hall and a
girl's dormitory are under construction at the same school.
On his part, the
Member of Parliament (Mp) for Asawase, Hon. Mohammed Muntaka Mubarak, said if
not for education, he wouldn't have become an MP.

The independent parliamentary candidate for the Nhyiaeso constituency in Kumasi metropolis, Lawyer Sam Osei David has said that, Ghana’s Parliament is in urgent need of Independent parliamentary Members of Parliament (MPs) who will consult the Chiefs and relevant stakeholders in the course of their duties.
He has therefore
called on Ghanaians especially the electorates to discard that notion of voting
in political party lines which has resulted in a situation where most MPs take
their constituent for granted because they have assumed once a particular
constituency or seat is their stronghold even if they don’t perform the people
would vote for them.
Mr.Sam Osei
David said this on Abusau 96.5 fm, a local based radio station in Kumasi during
a news bulletin, after picking his nomination papers at the Electoral
Commission (EC) to file for the Nhyiaeso constituency as independent candidate
in the 2016 elections.The self confident candidate said he will win the seat to
break that record of NPP always winning the seat which was created in 2004
under the NPP regime.He therefore urged the electorates in the area to vote for
him massively as their next MP.

BOSOMTWE DCE FACES VOTE OF NO CONFIDENCE …
Information reaching your authoritative the Trust Newspaper indicates that, the District Chief Executive (DCE) for Bosomtwe constituency in the Ashanti region who is also 2016 National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary candidate for the area, hon.Vironica Antwi-Adjei will soon face “a vote of no confidence” following a petition filed by 19 out of the 50 Assembly members made up of 35 elected and 15 Government appointees.
The spokesperson
for the concerned Assembly members in Bosomtwe District, hon,Kwame Derby told
this paper that,they need 1/3 of the Assembly to be able to sign the petition
before the Presiding Member(PM) can accept their petition but they were able to
get 19 members which is more than 1/3 of the Assembly to sign the petition in
line with the Act 462 section 17 of the Local Government Act.

DUNKWA CHIEFS SANCTION 2 TOP NDC EXECUTIVES FOR INSULTING CHIEFS, MEN OF GOD
The Dunkwa
Traditional Council (DTC) under the leadership of Nana Obeng Nuako
III,Dunkwahene has sanctioned two (2) executive members of the ruling National
Democratic Congress (NDC).
They are; one
Mr.Apetia,the constituency secretary and Mr.Dzokoto, the Communications
director of the constituency.
In an interview
with Dunkwahene, he explained that the traditional Council as well as the local
Churches within the Dunkwa area organized special prayers on July 1, 2016 for
Godly as well as humanly interventions on misfortunes that are prevailing in
the area besides peaceful election.
He said the two
NDC executives opposed the idea by pouring insults against the Clergies for
allowing themselves to be influenced with monies whilst the real issues are not
tackled.

not satisfied with the comments from the two NDC executives portraying that as
a main organizer of the event has bribed the Clergies which are a total insult
against him as well as the traditional council and as a result, they have to
call them to order.

NO MORE "SKIRT AND BLOUSE"-ZONGOS’ SPOKESPERSON.
The spokesperson for Zongo communities in Kwabre East Constituency of Ashanti Region, Mr.Mohamed Gawo has confirmed to the media yesterday that, people in the Zongo communities of that constituency have rescinded their decision to vote "Skirt and Brouse" against NPP parliamentary candidate, Francisca Oteng who popularly known as Maame Serwaah following a long deliberation and consultative meeting with some party leaders.

Patriotic Party (NPP) should by now know that they have lost quite a following
in the region because the people here now have a credible alternative which is

in an interview with the media, pointed out that the PPP has been the most
attractive political party going into this year’s elections as many people have
‘awakened’ to the realities of the Ghanaian system and realized that it is the
PPP on whom they could place their hopes for proper administration of the
country. Mr. Debrah has warned the New Patriotic Party (NPP) that, they should
