NPP MP ASPIRANT FOR OFORIKROM STORMS CHURCHES FOR VOTES.




With less than five weeks to the 7th general, 2016 general elections, Dr.Emmanuel Marfo, the NPP Parliamentary candidate for the Oforikrom constituency within Kumasi Metropolis, has encouraged Christians throughout the country to take key interest in the impending general elections.
According to him, the need for all Ghanaians especially Christians to pray for peace and promote  peaceful polls cannot be overemphasized, Bethel, E.P church ,Divine no. 2,,the Church of Pentecost among other churches to preach campaign ahead of the polls.
Dr.Marfo who was accompanied by his constituency executives and the Assembly Member for Ayigya Ahenebronum popularly known as Agenda, called on the electorates to vote for Nana Addo to enable him to become the next President of Ghana.
Adding that they should also vote massively for him as the next MP for the Oforikrom constituency.He reminded the believers that, the Bible has enjoined them to seek the peace of the nation in all their endeavours and asked all Ghanaians irrespective of their political, religious or ethnic background to help ensure violent -free general elections before, during and after.
The 2016 NPP Parliamentary candidate for Oforikrom constituency was in the various churches to ask for prayers, preach for peace and canvass for NPP ahead of the polls.
The various Ministers of God prayed for Nana Akufo Addo and Dr.Emmanuel Marfo as well as the peace of the Nation.
Rev.Paul Kwadwo Amoah ,the Ayigya District Pastor of the Church of Pentecost urged all political parties and their candidates as well as all Ghanaians to help ensure peace in his prayer for them.

Elder Isaac Kwabena Adjei Amakye, the district secretary of the Ayigya Pentecost said the doors of the church were opened for all political parties and their candidates’ inline with the recent launched “agent of peace campaign” by the Chairman of the Church, Apostle (Pro) Opoku Onyinah to contribute to the peace of the nation.
