MABANGHENE, PTA CHAIRMAN ACCUSE GOVERNMENT AND OTHERS OF NEGLECTING MABANG S.H.S.

The Paramount Chief of Mabang Traditional area in Ahafo Ano North district of Ashanti region, Nana Darko Montwie and PTA Chairman of Mabang Senior High / Technical school at Mabang, Hon,Kyei Sarpong,have accused the government, DCE and MP for the constituency of neglecting Mabang Senior High School (SHS) since the school was established in 1991 in terms of infrastructure development.

According to Chief and PTA Chairman, government, Mp and DCE for Ahafo Ano North district always send school infrastructure to Tepa S.H.S and abandoned Mabang S.H.S which has affected the school enrolment.

 They have therefore appealed to the government MP and DCE to come to their aid because the students are suffering.

PTA Chairman, hon. Kyei Sarpong also disclosed that government, and DCE, Mp for Ahafo Ano North district has provided only 6 units classrooms block since the school was established .

Adding that, even government and DCE has abandoned the on-going Get-fund project for 9 years.

Headmistress of the School, Susana Akua Quayson also called for government and MP,DCE to come to their aid because since the neglect of the school  they are currently facing challenge of classrooms, Teachers Accommodation, School Bus, Dinning Hall, Dormitories etc.

This came to light during the people’s forum organized by Mabang Omahene,Nana Darko Montwie to promote Mabang S.H.S and the good work of the school authorities.
