“Ghanaians should expect very surprising outcome of the 2016 general elections slated for December 7,since the Conventions People’s Party (CPP) led by Lawyer Ivor Kobina Greenstreet will win the elections one- touch.
I am telling you that, for the first time, the
CPP filed 222 candidates out of the 275 since some candidates failed to file
and this should tell Ghanaians across the country that, our Presidential
candidate, Ivor Kobina Greenstreet will emerge as the winner of the forthcoming
polls”.
Mr.Issah Abdul
Salam, the Ashanti Regional Secretary
for the Convention People’s Party (CPP)
who doubles as Old Tafo-Pankrono Parliamentary candidate who made the
prediction at Garden City Radio in Kumasi, a subsidiary of Ghana Broadcasting
Corporation (GBC) during its newspaper segment hosted by Emmmauel Assel.
The CPP guru
said plans were far advanced for the Party to launch its manifesto on 30th
October,2016 preferably in the Ashanti region to let Ghanaians know the good
things the party has in stock for them.
He said the CPP
led by its Presidential candidate when given the nod as the next Government
will focus on generating of more revenue through the Almond tree which is
expected to generate $12 billion within four years.Mr.Salam said apart from
that, the next CPP government will work hard to improve the energy sector to
make it more stable to attract investors to invest in the economy to help
employ more jobless youth in the country. And this he said will be done through
the implementation of wind power.
The Ashanti
regional CPP Secretary said Ivor Kobina Greenstreet government will also bring
modern education sector to enable the SHS Graduates employable instead of
ending up becoming un-employed after Senior High School (SHS) among other good
policies.
The Old
Tafo-Pankrono CPP Parliamentary candidate said the launching of the party’s
manifesto will demonstrate their social contract with the good people of Ghana
because CPP has a good track record of implementing its manifesto instead of
the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the New Patriotic Party
(NPP).He said if Ghanaians have taken the Parties manifestoes serious, NPP and
NDC would have to be one term in government.
On Ken Ofori-Atta
claims that, Ghanaians will punish Mahama for wasting his opportunities, Mr.Issah
Abdul Salam said , he was surprised by the u-turn by the NPP’s Director of
Fundraising.
He said if
Mr.Ken Ofori-Atta knew that, President Mahama won the 2012 elections based on
sympathy votes over late President Mills’ death why should the NPP waste the
nation’s time and resource on the elections petition?
He therefore
challenged Mr.Ken Ofori-Atta to write an unqualified apology letter to
President John Mahama, Electoral Commission (EC) as well as Ghana Broadcasting
Corporation (GBC) which he observed lost a lot of revenue by providing live
coverage of the 8-month election petition.
