The Old Tafo-Pankrono National
Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary candidate for 2016 general elections,
Madam Mamuna Kabore has stated that, her party will pull a very big surprise of
the main opposition, NPP to win the elections one touch.
According to her, the grounds were very
futile for President John Mahama and NDC Parliamentary candidates to win the
elections hands down. Adding that, Old Tafo-Pankrono will be a test case to
demonstrate that, the NDC is now stronger in the Ashanti region than ever
before.
”I can tell you that, old Tafo-Pankrono
seat will fall into NDC come December,7,2016 general elections because the sitting
Member of Parliament (MP),Dr.Anthony Akoto Osei has disappointed the
constituent coupled with the massive developmental projects especially the
unprecedented improvement of town roads in the area”, she explained.
Madam Kabore who is very optimistic of
President Mahama one –touch victory gave assurance in an interview with Garden
City Radio in Kumasi, on the sideline of the Ashanti regional NDC campaign
launch held at Jubilee park previously known as Jackson park.
She accused the sitting Member of Parliament
(MP) for sleeping over the job and asked the electorates in the area to reject
him and Nana Akufo Addo.
“I can tell you that, the NPP in the Old
Tafo-Pankrono is now shaking because we are giving them sleepless nights, we
set the space and they follow.NDC is now moving Dr.Anthony Akoto Osei to
campaign and that is telling you that, the people of the area will vote him
out”, she said.
On Nana Akufo Addo chances of becoming
the next President of Ghana, Madam Mamuna Kabore described the NPP Presidential
candidate as a short man who doesn’t deserve to be votd for as President and
urged especially the zongo communities across the country to reject Nana Akufo
Addo.
She was very confident that, with the
unprecedented achievement of President Mahama led administration coupled with
the aggressive campaign by the Presidential candidate as well as the various
Parliamentary candidates and the campaign team members, there is no way that
the NDC will not win the December polls.
“We in NDC are very sure of winning the
elections but we are not complacency we continue to embark on aggressive
campaign till President Mahama and NDC is declared the winner of the polls”,
she added.
Meanwhile, the
NDC Parliamentary candidate for Old Tafo-Pankrono constituency, Madam Mamuna
Kabore has held her maiden health walk out of seven health walks outreach she
has planned as part of her campaign strategy to reach out to the electorate
with few weeks to the general elections.

her executives as well as the teeming supporters matched through the principal
