NCCE ENDORSES ATWIMA NWABIAGYA NORTH IND.CANDIDATE OVER OTHERS AHEAD OF POLLS

The National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) has adjudged the independent Parliamentary Candidate for Atwima Nwabiagya North, Rev Esther Donkoh, as the candidate, who can solve the numerous problems facing the constituents.

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Kumah farms at Anwomaso in the Ashanti region, Nana Kumah has encouraged people, especially the youth who want to venture into rearing of farm animals and others to seek technical knowledge to prevent damages.

He also challenged individuals who have the aspirations to do that, to as soon as possible seek for technical advice from expert before entering.

He disclosed this to journalists in a brief interview on Farmers’ day, adding that, some people without his concern have penetrated illegally into where he has the tilapia fisheries pond, draining the reservoir and as a result has led to the damage of the pond.

He explained that, although, he can not pin-point people behind this act, but conspicuously might be someone who without technical knowledge forcibly comes to the site to practice.

NDC CHAIRMAN SURE OF VICTORY

The Kwabre East Constituency Chairman of the ruling NDC,Alhaji Awal Aziz, has observed that due to numerous policies and infrastructural development under this government ,the NDC will surely win the 2016 elections.

The year’s general elections is just around the corner, there have been series of advice from well meaning Ghanaians with regard to conducts to ensure peaceful polls, the latest has been Nana Asare Bediako Atipimsafohene.

Nana Osei Kofi said, for some time now politicians have taken the right and lives of body builders for granted using them to perpetrate mayhem during elections through snatching of ballot boxes but, it is time for them to re-born and wash out the negative impression that body builders are violent people in the society.

He also cautioned the public especially, the Christian Council, the Muslim community, the priesthood, traditional authorities to use the much awaiting elections to promote peace and unity among the people.

ODOTOBRI BANK PRESENTS TO NATIONAL FARMERS DAY

As part of its commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility and support of the 32nd National farmers day which was celebrated on Friday, November 4th 2016,the management's of Odotobri rural bank donated farming equipment valued at Ghc11,500.00 to ten (10)Municipal, Metropolitan and District Assemblies(MMDAs) within its catchment area, as well as the Ministry of Food and Agriculture.

The beneficiary MMDAs were Adansi North, Atwima kwanwoma, Asokore mampong,Kwabre east,Afigya kwabre, Obuasi,Bekwai municipal and KMA.

The ten MMDAs received five 5 knapsack spray machines and twelve 12pairs of Wallington boots each.

The late broadcast journalist Confidence K. The Paramount Chief of Mabang Traditional area in Ahafo Ano North district of Ashanti region, Nana Darko Montwie and PTA Chairman of Mabang Senior High / Technical school at Mabang, Hon,Kyei Sarpong,have accused the government, DCE and MP for the constituency of neglecting Mabang Senior High School (SHS) since the school was established in 1991 in terms of infrastructure development.

Hon.Samuel Sarpong, the former Ashanti Regional Minister has predicted that President John Mahama and the NDC will win the December, 7, 2016 general elections after performing creditably in his first four years in office.

He has therefore asked Mr.Koku Anyidoho to stop grumbling like an “imbecile” as he hit back at his insults against Dr.Mahamudu Bawumia.

With barely few days to this year’s general elections slated for 7^th December,2016 ,Ghanaians especially the key stakeholders have been urged to contribute their quota to help ensure violent-free polls devoid of any confusion.

They have also been reminded that, peace can never be bought hence there is the need for all hands to be on deck to work hard to achieve peace especially in the forthcoming general elections.

The Ashanti Regional Director, Electoral Commission, Mr Serebour Keokuk has admonished the media to be circumspect in their reportage to ensure violence free ahead of December 7th general elections.
