WEDNESDAY POLLS: DON’T SUBJECT THE COUNTRY TO VIOLENCE- REV. FRIMPONG BOATENG URGES


The Founder and General Overseer of Jesus Prayer Ministry headquarters at Ejisu-Asawase in the Ashanti region, Rev. Mrs. Frimpong Boateng, popularly known as Precious Mrs, has appealed to all Ghanaians to help ensure violent-free elections on Wednesday 7th December,2016.
She also called on the youth, especially not to allow politicians to use money to influence them to foment trouble before, during and after the polls.
Precious Mrs.also pleaded with all contesting Presidential and Parliamentary candidates and their supporters to desist from all acts that have the tendency to undermine their integrity and the peace of the nation. The Founder and General Overseer of Jesus Prayer Ministry made the appeal at Golden Tulip in Kumasi during Legendary Gospel Awards night to honour old gospel musicians Pastors.
Rev.Mrs.Frimpong Boateng who chaired the colourful ceremony which was highly attended by high profile personalities noted that, some politicians often influence the youth to act violently to their advantage.
She therefore appealed to politicians to desist from any inflammatory statements that can turn the Wednesday 7th December general elections into political turmoil.
She encouraged all eligible voters to go out in their numbers and vote for the candidate who can improve the livelihoods and secure a better future for the people of this country.

According to her, their votes will determine the destiny of the nation. She urged Christians not to use Christianity as a platform for amassing wealth for themselves. She noted that, Christians are obliged to preach the gospel and to save people from everlasting perishing.
