The MP for Nsuta Kwamang- Beposo, Hon.Kwame Asafo Adjei ,has donated items worth Ghc 155,000 from his share of the National Health Insurance Fund Levy.
The items includes; 5 mattresses, one deep freezer, 1 Canon photo copier, sets of funiture, 6motor bikes, 3laptops, 1Polytank, Visitors chairs, 20 Weighing scale, 5Stethoscope, 1 Stabilizer, 5 Sphygh and Executives chairs and Table to Sekyere Central District Health directorate in Ashanti region.
The items would be distributed to the various health facilities across the Sekyere central district by the District Health directorate to help facilitate the provision of quality health delivery.
In an interview with the press, the MP explained that the purpose of donating these items is to promotes a quality health within the district.
The MP who commended the health personnel in the area however, entreated them to cultivate maintenance culture to help keep the equipment long for the service delivery.He appealed all Ghanaians especially those in the area keep their environment clean at all times in order to prevent water borne diseases among others since prevention is better than cure.The Nsuta Kwamang-Beposo MP said the need to rekindle the communal labour and sanitary inspectors to ensure proper environment cleanliness cannot be overemphasized.Receiving the items on behalf of the District health Director-Mr.Adanse Yeboah Joseph.The promised to distribute the item to the beneficiary health centers. see more pitures....
