The entire community of Afrancho-Brongkon in the Afigya Kwabre district of the Ashanti region have vowed to vote massively against the sitting member of Parliament ,Hon Owuraku Aidoo for his failure to find solution to their only bridge which has become a death-trap..
The
community angrily disclosed this to pressmen in an interview few days ahead of
the general elections slated for Wednesday 7th December,2016.
They
said that, the deplorable nature of the bridge has become a major hindrance to
development in the community; therefore, nurses, teachers, traders, as well as students’
refuse to go to school due to the state of the bridge.
Some
student who spoke to the press said that, they have to wake at dawn to walk
along the dangerous road before they get closer to board vehicle to school.
The
assembly man, hon. Philip Sarkodie Addo said that, the M.P seems to be
recalcitrant and adamant about their problems, therefore, supporting his
community to vote against him in the coming election
