There was all joy amidst drumming, singing and dancing at Jesus Prayer Ministry at Ejisu-Asawase in the Ejisu Municipality of Ashanti Region when the Member of Parliament (MP) elect for the New Edubiase constituency in the Adansi South district and his entourage joined the congregation to thank Almighty God for a successful general election.
The most excitement of the members of the congregation stemmed from the fact that ahead of the general elections, Mr.George Oduro, the MP elect for New Edubiase on the ticket of New Patriotic Party(NPP) came to worship with them and sought God’s intervention for him to win the seat for the first time.
And lo and behold the Founder and the General Overseer of Jesus Prayer Ministry, Rev.Mrs.Grace Frimpong Boateng prayed for him and prophesied that, he would win the seat for the first time for his party which actually came to pass on Wednesday 7th December, 2016 when after the voting and counting,the Electoral commission (EC) declared him (George Oduro) the winner.
The MP-elect last Wednesday 14th December,2016 exactly a week after his historic victory stormed Jesus prayer ministry to gave thanks first to the Almighty God, prophetess Mrs. boateng popularly known as precious Mrs and the entire congregation for their support and also asked for their continue prayers to be able to deliver to expectation.
The highly delighted George Oduro who was accompanied by a large number of his party executives,supporters and family membership told the media that,his priority would be to see to the provision of quality education to all school age children,expansion of educational infrastructure,health among other things.he therefore called for co-operation and support by all and sundry to help fast track development in the area.
On her part,Rev .Mrs. Frimpong Boateng prayed for him and prophesied again on him that,if he doesn't forsake God in all his dealing he will raise to become one of the powerful and influential politicians in the country.
He used the opportunity to remind politicians who ran to God to seek political office or position and shun God afterwards to desist from that practices.
Don't for God after general elections or after you have received what you asked God for ",she advised.
The general overseer of Jesus prayer ministry who held a number of prayer session for peaceful and violent-free general elections was also full of thanks to God for hearing their prayers and other Ghanaians who prayed for peaceful elections.
She also thanked all Ghanaians especially all stakeholders for contributing to keep peaceful and successful general elections.The prophetess also urged Ghanaians especially all believers to continue to pray for the country, the president-elect,Nana Akufo Addo and all in leadership position..
