Thousands of people were present to participate in the peace walk organized by the MP elect. Addressing the people after the peace walk, he thanked God and appreciated all of them for their support during the elections.He therefore advised them and all Ghanaians to desist from political insults because it can lead to chaos and also urged them to unite after the elections because election is sharing of opinions not disunity.He added that, now that he has immerged as the MP of the constituency, he is going to work for all and again asked the people to remember him in their prayers for spiritual interventions which will guide him to fulfill his premises and work hard for the constituency and motherland Ghana.

Hon. Kwame Asamoah Boateng, former District Chief Executive (DCE) for Amansie Central in the Ashanti region under former President J.A.Kufour’s regime, has stated that, President Mahama's administration is engulfed by incompetent leaders.
