The jailed Montie three were sentenced to four months in prison by the Supreme Court following contempt proceedings against them. The contempt proceedings came after the three threatened the lives of Supreme Court judges who sat on the Abu Ramadan and Gary Nimako versus the Electoral Commission case.

Eric  Husni Ewusidzie-Sagoe, who submitted one of the responses to Pulse, questioned the relevant of the question and noted: "So are U saying the constitution is wrong and for that matter the president is wrong. Is pardoning not constitutional. Why is the media always reading political meanings into every move by the president instead of educating the populace. Give us a break."
