Daasebre Gyamenah has died at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital-Ghanaian High-Life music legend


According to manager of the artiste, Mr Loggy the news of his death has been confirmed by close family sources. He was reportedly found unconscious in the late hours of Thursday night.


Highlife legend, Daasebre Gyamenah is dead. The singer died earlier on Friday morning at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra
Among his many hit songs include ‘Kokoko’, ‘Still I love You’ and ‘Wo da enda’.
In May 2007, he was sentenced to prison in the United Kingdom for possessing drugs. He served 11 months in jail.
Many on social media have expressed shocked by the news and are awaiting further confirmation.
Daasebre Gyamenah is also a convert to Islam and is known as Abubakar Sadique.
